Solution to the sliding problem of hot water insulation steel pipes

Hot water insulation steel pipes can be changed according to the different conveying media. Hot water insulation pipes made of polyurethane material will experience sliding to a certain extent during installation.
1、 Internal sliding and external fixation
When polyurethane insulated steel pipes expand under heat, they will inevitably move in a changing manner, and displacement is also possible. The insulation structure layer and outer casing are generally a whole structure. External fixation refers to the fact that the working steel pipe and external protective pipe must be fixed together. At both ends of each section of pipeline and compensator, two large reinforced concrete piers must be installed to ensure inconvenient fixation of the pipeline. Due to the installation of reinforced concrete piers for external fixation, the construction area is large, the investment is high, and sometimes the construction period is long. Therefore, it is better to pay attention to it before. According to the different types of protective pipes that you want to use, they can be divided into plastic sheathed steel structures, fiberglass sheathed steel structures, and steel sheathed steel structures. It has been proven through practice that plastic sleeve steel structures are no longer suitable for the development trend of directly buried steam pipelines.
2、 Internal sliding and internal fixation
Fix the working steel pipe to the outer protective pipe through a certain structural form, fully utilizing the strength and stiffness of the outer protective pipe, as well as the friction force between the outer protective pipe and the soil, to further secure the inner pipe, without the need for reinforced concrete structure fixation, which can save the construction of reinforced concrete piers. Only with steel pipes as external protective pipes can internal fixation be adopted, with insulation facilities at the fixed end to reduce thermal bridge effects. At the same time, the external protective pipe should have sufficient strength to meet the requirements of horizontal thrust of the pipeline. The use of internal fixation structure has great advantages for the "steel sleeve steel" insulation structure. According to the different outer protective pipes, they can be divided into steel sleeve steel structure and steel sleeve steel composite structure.
3、 Cleverly utilizing the form of external sliding and internal fixation
By combining the insulation material of polyurethane insulation pipe with the working steel pipe through a certain process, a whole will be formed. The insulation structure and the working steel pipe must move together during the thermal expansion of the pipeline. There is a gap of 10-20mm between the outer sleeve and the insulation structure layer, which not only provides good insulation but also serves as a channel for moisture removal. A set of insulated guide brackets are used to support the working steel pipe and outer casing pipe at a distance, which can reduce the friction force during pipeline displacement and make it more convenient and fast to move.
